Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem kulturní diverzity na řízení týmu a podniku vybrané společnosti. Teoretická část se zaměřuje zejména na kulturní teorii Hofstedeho a jeho poznatky k obtížnosti vedení multikulturního týmu, ale též bere v potaz i ostatní teoretiky. Tato práce využívá několik dotazníků ke zjištění mezikulturního vlivu na vybranou společnost a analyzuje tyto výsledky, které jsou následně využity k návrhům pro zlepšení výkonnosti podniku.

Obsahuje také návrhy na základě vyhodnocených údajů, které mají zlepšit výkonnost podniku tím, že pomáhají zaměstnancům překonat kulturní rozdíly.

Nejprve bude prozkoumána teorie dané problematiky a také související výzkumy. Hlavním cílem analytické části práce je provést dotazníkový výzkum mezi expatrioty, kteří v současnosti pracují nebo v milulých letech pracovali v Albánii a analyzovat jeho výsledky.
Proposal for Intercompany Communication Change in a Multinational Company Operating in IT Services

Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem změny vnitropodnikové komunikace ve vybrané mezinárodní společnosti působící v oblasti IT služeb. Předmětem výzkumu v analytické části je zmapování vztahů místních zaměstnanců k jejich vedoucím a kolegům pocházejících z odlišných národních kultur. Dále je pak zkoumán vliv kulturních odlišností na aplikovaný způsob řízení a komunikaci v rámci mezinárodního týmu. Na základě výsledků výzkumu provedeného mezi zaměstnanci společnosti formou dotazníkového šetření jsou v návrhové části společnosti doporučena opatření vedoucí k zefektivnění komunikace v rámci společnosti a zefektivnění spolupráce v rámci multikulturního týmu.
Ukrainian migration to the Czech Republic: challenges and successes of integration in times of war

The thesis deals with the migration of Ukrainians to the Czech Republic and analyses the problems and successes in the process of their integration into Czech society during the period of the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine. The aim of the thesis is to provide a detailed overview of the migration of Ukrainians to the Czech Republic and to describe the challenges faced by the migrants. The thesis examines various aspects of integration and inclusion, including social, cultural, legal and economic. The main focus is on issues such as adaptation to the new environment, employment, education, support for migrants and socialization in the Czech Republic. Emphasis is also placed on the positive aspects of migration and integration as well as on issues related to barriers to integration. The work includes successful integration practices, models of support and best practices that can be used to further improve the situation of Ukrainian migrants in the Czech Republic. In the research part, the results of qualitative research obtained with the help of a questionnaire are presented. This thesis will serve as material for further discussion and development of policies and measures that will lead to effective integration of Ukrainian citizens into Czech society. Cultural Exceptionality with Regard to Globalization

The objective of my memoire is the position of culture in face globalization. Firstly, this memoire presents the revolution of transportation and means of communication, which has led to globalization. The following paragraphs present the principal international accords, the organizations affected by this problem, as well as the essential conventions concerning {<<} l´exception culturelle {>>}. Furthermore, it shows that culture has consequently come into play in globalization by opposing European culture with the concept of America. This memoire demonstrates how globalization accompanied by cultural hégémonie is responsible for the birth of the principal of cultural exception and moreover of cultural diversity.
Perception of cultural differences in children with different mother tongue and children from bilingual environment

Thesis Perception of cultural differences in children with different mother tongue and children from bilingual environment is a case study at a specific primary school. The theoretical part deals with methodology of education of pupils with different mother tongue than Czech and the methodology of education of pupils living in a bilingual environment. Furthermore, the cultural differences, the identification of cultural clashes is explained here. The thesis also deals with the issue of national minorities in the Czech Republic, stereotypes and labelling. Ethical Dimension of Multiculturalism (Using the Knowledge of German Realia and Culture)

The presented dissertation deals with the ethical aspects of inconsistent view on the contemporary world, which can be seen as a philosophical, political and multicultural problem. Since the Federal Republic of Germany can be considered an example of open multicultural society, the author presents in the work a rich factual history, culture and realities of the country with the aim to clarify the understanding of its foreign policy relating to the immigration. The dissertation addresses the issue of the ethical dimension of multiculturalism in connection with migration and multicultural coexistence in a culturally diverse and often turbulent environment, including their practical impacts. The research carried out at the university environment of multicultural Germany in 2014-2016 detects present cultural diversity of the country, confirms the importance of the education in the process of integrating newcomers into mainstream society and searches for opportunities to improve the coexistence of people of different races, ethnicities, cultures and religions. In the conclusion, the author tracks the future developments and expectations with respect to the topic of multiculturalism and its ethical dimension both, on the territory of immigration Germany and in European and world context. Cultural Diversity and its Protection in International Law

Master's thesis Cultural Diversity and its Protection in International Law focuses on the concept of cultural diversity within international law and examines the various means of its protection and promotion. Although the theme of cultural diversity is relatively new for international law, the issue developed significantly in the last fifteen years. This thesis therefore outlines the development of the protection of cultural diversity in an international environment and focuses on its current relevance. The first part of the thesis describes the historical development of the protection of cultural diversity from the perspective of international law. It focuses on the concept of cultural diversity within the framework of international organizations. The thesis then presents various means of protection and preservation of cultural diversity, be it earlier documents dealing with the protection of cultural diversity or the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions from 2005, which is one of the most important milestones in these efforts. Social Cohesion and Growth

In this thesis, we examine the effect of social cohesion on economic growth. As a measure of social cohesion, we use Social Cohesion Index that combines several data sources into one comprehensible index covering 155 countries. We deal with model uncertainty and endogeneity of social cohesion at the same time by employing Bayesian model averaging together with two-stage least square estimation. Considering more than twenty regressors for fifty-three countries, we show that social cohesion has a positive effect on economic growth. We perform a prior sensitivity analysis to assess variability of social cohesion across different prior structures. As a robustness check, we include Rule of Law and Integration variables into our model and estimate it with Instrumental Variable Bayesian Model Averaging (IVBMA) methodology to cope with a considerable degree of instrument uncertainty. The results suggest that social cohesion is indeed a vital determinant of economic growth. 1
